1. Furniture for AASiA office

Tell Marcela what to take out, what to bring in

Move computer desk into corner

Donate non-AASiA books to libraries

Get more chairs (3 folding chairs, 1 real chair) from chair barn

Get a normal meeting table that seats about 8

2. CASO Thai Garden event

Got funding from CUL $200, MinCo $100

Ask AASiA for $100 (yes, vote passed)

3. Game Night

Got 10 pizzas, ordered 4 extra over the 6 original pizza pies

Demolished. $30 extra

Successful! People showed up, people met each other, hooray!

Another game night? Right before finals, study break.

December 4^th, Friday, 6-8pm

Have shifts so that set-up, clean-up aren’t as last-minute and poorly-organized

4. First AASiA discussion

11:45am-1:00pm in Paresky, Friday 11/6

Professor Crane, Asia-China relations, Obama is going to China in November (timely)

Subgroup reps need to sign up 3 people to send

Seohee publicize, Tasha ask Professor Crane about specific topics covered

Next Thursday, 11/12, Professor Wong will talk about Vincent Chin

7:30pm-10:00pm, Goodrich (already reserved)

Seohee reports that Sawyer will buy the DVD and $500 worth of viewing rights

Susan, Tasha will provide more information once they talk to Professor Wong

We have to share our tailgating with MinCo in general

Share with VISTA, have Korean beef tacos.

VISTA might be able to provide cars

Gary look for new grill, perhaps Sears website and Berkshire mall

8. Rice cookers and recipes

Everyone send Gary a recipe (especially a focus on East Asian recipes) in the next 2 days

Gary figure out meeting times with Tasha, Lily, schedule meeting with Dining Services

Lily might also show up because of the chopsticks thing

Subgroup reps ask for recipes too.

Rice cookers will be here in 2 weeks in Whitman’s and Greylock

People have to go eat their rice before they will put it in other dining halls
